Square Enix is reportedly remaking one of the most polarizing RPGs from its vast catalog of games, and it's allegedly part of the legendary Dragon Quest series.
According to a report from MP1st, Square Enix is allegedly developing a remake of Dragon Quest 7: Fragments of the Forgotten Past, and it will possibly release in 2026 (via Eurogamer). Reportedly, the project is being described as a "remake" internally, implying that the project could be much more substantial than the previous HD-2D Dragon Quest remasters.
