We haven't heard much about The Elder Scrolls 6 since its vague CGI trailer in 2018, but with development finally ramping up, rumours are beginning to spread.
Xbox insider Jez Corden claimed on the XB2 podcast that the game is "quite playable" right now, even suggesting that it's further along in development than we expected.
VGC reporter Jordan Middler claims that "multiple Fallout projects" are in development, but it'll still be a while before any of them launch.
"If the core of Elder Scrolls 6 is done, or approaching being done—" Corden started. "Well, I don't think that's true. That's not gonna be true for a while," Rand al Thor interjected. "I don't know, man, I don't know," Corden said. "Has Elder Scrolls 6 even hit full production yet?" Rand al Thor asked. "I don't know—I heard it's quite playable," Corden replied.
Granted, as Rand al Thor argued, "quite playable" could mean anything. Bethesda might have a rudimentary combat system working or certain dungeons mapped out, but with incomplete textures and placeholder voice lines.
