Xbox Game Pass Adds Sci-Fi FPS with 'Very Positive' Reviews

Xbox Game Pass subscribers are treated to the return of the comedy-infused sci-fi FPS High on Life. Developed by Squanch Games, High on Life originally launched in 2022 and was added to the Xbox Game Pass lineup as a day-one title. In 2023, the game received a DLC called High on Knife, which explored the backstory of one of the main characters.

The July lineup for Xbox Game Pass has been promising. The service recently added Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 as a day-one release. Before that, subscribers got access to Little Nightmares 2, the acclaimed horror title from 2021. And now, Microsoft's subscription brings back a rather unorthodox first-person shooter from around the same era.

One of the most bizarre, and successful, Xbox Game Pass games of all time is getting a sequel that fans can play later this year.
