Capcom has officially released its character trailer for Sagat for Street Fighter 6 ahead of EVO USA coming later in a few weeks. Sagat is the original boss for the Street Fighter franchise, but then moved to the preliminary boss to M. Bison for the following titles. Sagat's hulking size and reach are on full display in this trailer along with his quick and devastating specials along with both high and low projectiles. He remains the only character to throw low projectiles. The trailer also showcases Sagat's stage for the game, and there isn't a giant statue in the background. There is a tiger, however. When and How to Obtain Sagat
Sagat will be available in just a few weeks on August 5 as part of Year 3. Street Fighter 6 originally released in June 2023 as other characters have been added nearly quarterly since launch. The Year 3 Character Pass and Ultimate Pass are currently available. Owners of the Year 3 Character / Ultimate Pass will get automatic access to Sagat on day one along with the Proud Spire stage.
