In an unexpected move, Cyberpunk 2077 has just announced a collaboration with the extraction FPS, Arena Breakout: Infinite. The looter shooter launched its second season, titled "Crimson Edge," on July 10, bringing new content and plenty of improvements to the popular multiplayer title from MoreFun Studios and Tencent Games.
"Extract or Flatline," reads the tagline for the unexpected new collaboration, as both Cyberpunk 2077 and Arena Breakout: Infinite have cross-posted the announcement to their respective X accounts, to the surprise of fans of both communities. The X post from AB:I invites players to "Wake the F up operators, we have a city to burn!"
The official Cyberpunk 2077 X account has shared a preview video of the upcoming collaboration. The post welcomes AB:I operators to Night City, as an Arena Breakout player rumbles into the iconic Cyberpunk 2077 city in a van. As the soldier jumps out and the van drives away, the camera pans up to reveal that they're wearing V's iconic Samurai jacket.
The brief teaser footage implies that a Night City location might be rolled out in Arena Breakout: Infinite. It also bodes well for any Arena Breakout fans who wish they could loot and extract...
