Over 100 Games Being Delisted From Playstation Store

Japanese publisher Entergram has revealed plans to delist more than 100 PS4 and PS Vita games from the Japanese PlayStation Store later this year. The PlayStation Store boasts a wide lineup of games for players to pick up and try out, ranging from big-name AAA games to a plethora of releases from indie studios and smaller developers. The online storefront has been Sony's main platform for selling digital games since its introduction on the PlayStation 3 in 2006, with each subsequent Sony console and handheld featuring the shop. However, the store can vary wildly based on a player's region.

Much like many other online storefronts, regional versions of the PlayStation Store often contain games that other parts of the world cannot access. The Japanese PlayStation Store is a particular hub for region-exclusive games, with many developers choosing not to release their games worldwide. Many regions also boast different pricing schemes for their games, with fans recently speaking out against Sony raising PlayStation Store prices in Brazil and Turkey. Now, a Japanese publisher is set to remove over 100 games from the platform.
