If this sounds familiar, don’t panic, I did just write a piece about how well the Nintendo Switch 2 did in Japan in its first month, and now, I get to tell you how it did in the United States. Hint: It did really well and broke a record. That seems to be a theme with this console, wouldn’t you say? As if that’s not enough, it broke a different record via how much people spent on the system (and others) in the month of June:

So, yeah, the Nintendo Switch 2 is doing incredibly well. Plus, if you recall the Japanese numbers, it sold 1.5 million (at bare minimum) in its opening month there. That’s 3.1 million just between two nations, AND, we know from official Nintendo numbers that the company sold 3.5 million in its first four days. So, that means the overall sales number for the Switch 2 is definitely MUCH higher than 3.5 million...
