Like something out of a Gen X dad's dreams, the latest Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Trailer pits two of Hollywood's anti-heroes against each other in a deathmatch only video games can provide. John Rambo and The T-800 Terminator himself square off in two rounds of the 2D fighting game to declare one icon the unofficial hero of the eighties action movies.

You can find the first round of the match right here.

If you'd like to see how the rest plays out, there's another brutal second round too. You can find that one on YouTube by following this link.

The Terminator's design is inspired by his Terminator: Dark Fate get-up, which is the most recent sequel in the series and features the likeness of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Rambo, meanwhile, includes three different skins, each of them meant to look like Sylvester Stallone. They even include his voice as well. Options for Stallone's character include skins from First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part 2, and Rambo 3. Yup, the naming conventions are still weird. Video games couldn't fix that, but at least we're witness to this dream matchup.

The Terminator has been in Mortal Kombat 11 for a while now, but Rambo makes his debut tomorrow, November 17, as part of a new wave of DLC characters alongside the Ultimate Edition which bundles all the game's character DLC so far into one package for new-generation players on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Other characters soon to debut include Rain and Mileena, the latter of whom has been the most requested character in the game since it released.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate also includes the first Kombat Pack as well as the Aftermath story expansion. It's available on last-gen consoles as well, and will just lose some of the enhancements enjoyed by new-gen players but is otherwise the same package. Those who own the last-gen version of Mortal Kombat 11 can download the new version for free on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate launches on November 17.
