Alongside the launch of Happy Gilmore 2 this weekend, Netflix has announced that a Happy Gilmore tie-in game is now available on the very same platform. It's called Happy Gilmore: Golf Mayhem ’98, and continues the adventures of the titular Happy Gilmore character, allowing players to golf like a champion, drive a golf cart, and punch people out.
Framed after the classic 1996 comedy film, this entry takes place roughly during the events of the original, but before the sequel (which has a modern setting). Several cameos are featured, including Hal (Ben Stiller), Virginia (Julie Bowen), and Potter (Kevin Nealon). There are also a few meta cameos from other Adam Sandler characters.
The easiest way to play Happy Gilmore: Golf Mayhem ’98 is through the Netflix web app, which you can access directly through this link. If you have a device that supports Netflix games, it'll display a "Games Row" on the Netflix app. After that, you'll be able to scan a QR code and use your phone as a controller, or opt for a dedicated device.
