Right now, Nintendo fans are in a unique “state of flux.” The reason I say this is because the Nintendo Switch 2 is out, and it’s doing really well. Epic games like Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza are out, and by all accounts, they’re doing incredibly well (we don’t have full official numbers for either just yet). The flux, as it were, comes with what fans are meant to be excited for next. As of right now, we only have one smaller title announced for August, via Drag X Drive, nothing for September, and Pokemon Legends Z-A coming out in October.
Many are hoping the long-rumored Nintendo Direct drops next week so we can gain more “insight” into what comes next, but in Japan right now, they’re fine with just knowing about Pokemon Legends Z-A, as it’s already climbed up the Amazon Japan sales charts:
