With San Diego Comic-Con 2025 still dropping the hits, there was a bit of Canadian chaos being let loose as Scott Pilgrim EX made its debut during a packed panel hosted by franchise creator Bryan Lee O’Malley, developer Tribute Games, and Limited Run Games, with some help from Universal Products & Experiences. The session gave fans their first look at gameplay from the upcoming beat’em-up, which serves as a brand-new chapter in Scott’s never-ending fight for love, music, and self-respect.
The panel wasn’t just a teaser fest. It was a celebration. Moderator Griffin Newman, of Blank Check Podcast fame, kept the energy flowing as O’Malley was joined by Tribute Games’ Jean-François Major and Yannick Belzil, Limited Run Games CEO Josh Fairhurst, and Universal’s John Melchior.
