Xbox console exclusives Gears of War: E-Day and State of Decay 3 are said to be coming to the PS5, according to a newly emerged report. The purported ports would mark a continuation of Microsoft's multi-platform push, which has already seen it release plenty of Xbox games on rival consoles.
In early 2024, Microsoft began shifting away from console exclusivity with the goal of starting to adopt a more traditional third-party publishing model. Since then, the company has ported more than a dozen titles to Xbox rival consoles. Most recently, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 was treated to a same-day release on the PS4, PS5, and Switch on July 11.
