The winner of the fan vote to determine the next Disney Dreamlight Valley Community Companion has been revealed, and it wasn't a particularly close decision. For the past few months, fans have been voting in rounds to decide the design of a new Community Companion to be added to the game, choosing everything from the base design to what accessory it will wear. The final vote began on August 8 and ended this morning.
Revealed on the Disney Dreamlight Valley website, the winning design was Design One, which was a pink dragon with a flower theme. That design got 66 percent of the total vote, compared to just 12 and 22 percent for the other two final design options.
The new Community Companion will "go into production for a release later this year," according to a message on the official website. The fans voted for a dragon-based design, with a cottage-core aesthetic, a flower neck, a flower crown, and a theme-specific tail (which would also be flowers). Possible final designs using those elements were created, and despite the flower-heavy theme, the choices for the new design were quite distinct.
