An upcoming game called Star Garden has recently been announced on Kickstarter. Star Garden’s gameplay has incredible Chao Garden vibes, and it looks like an excellent opportunity for Sonic fans willing to support it on Kickstarter.
The Chao Garden first appeared in Sonic Adventure, released in 1998 for the Dreamcast. The game featured three Chao Gardens, zones inhabited by cute little fairy-like creatures called Chao, which have reappeared in other Sonic the Hedgehog games, such as Sonic Adventure 2, the Sonic Advance series, and Sonic Rivals 2. Chao Garden areas have become incredibly popular with the Sonic fanbase over the years due to their unique mechanics, making Star Garden an interesting pick for gamers who grew up playing these titles.
Now, Game Garage has unveiled a new indie game called Star Garden, which has cute early 2000s aesthetics and sprawling areas to explore. According to Game Garage, Star Garden will launch a Kickstarter on September 2, releasing a demo on Steam simultaneously.
