A new Dino Crisis merch line has been launched in Japan, prompting many fans of the series to speculate that a remake or new game announcement could soon be on the way from Capcom. Rumors of an upcoming Dino Crisis game have continued to swirl over the past few years, with countless fans hoping to see Capcom breathe new life into its once-beloved survival horror franchise.
In early 2024, Capcom released a survey asking players which franchise they'd like to see revived in the future. Hundreds of thousands of fans responded, with Dino Crisis, Ace Attorney, Mega Man, and Resident Evil coming in at the top. With Resident Evil Requiem recently announced to be hitting shelves in February 2026, players are now focusing on the other series mentioned by the company, paying particular attention to Dino Crisis. The last game in the franchise, Dino Crisis 3, was released for the Xbox in 2003 and didn't find the same level of acclaim as its predecessors. However, a new title could be just the ticket when it comes to rekindling interest in the unique survival series.
