The next major update for Monster Hunter Wilds is coming very soon, and it's bringing some hefty additions and changes. MH Wilds's reception has been inconsistent, especially from PC players, who have found the game to have numerous performance issues, resulting in a "mostly negative" reception on Steam. This new update is less about performance, though, and more about addressing common complaints about endgame content, seemingly.
Posted on the official Monster Hunter website, the patch notes for Version 1.021.00 have been posted, and it's a sizable 2 GB update. Adjustments will be made to almost every weapon, some network and performance issues will be addressed, tempered versions of nine monsters will begin to appear in the wild at Hunter Rank 100, and a lot more. The update will be available tomorrow, August 13.
While the performance, especially on PC, will likely not improve significantly yet, there should be fewer bugs and crashes that will help alleviate some player frustrations. The update includes fixes for random crashes after player actions, a fix for game crashes for other players after performing certain gestures, and some text box bugs. A previous MH Wilds update had over 100 fixes, so the performance improvements here...
