A newly-released Helldivers 2 trailer teases a crossover with none other than the Halo franchise. This trailer hypes up the forthcoming Series X/S release of Helldivers 2, and it seems the Arrowhead shooter will eventually bring in the ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers) to spread managed democracy.
Developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, Helldivers 2 launched to great fanfare in early 2024, drawing in nearly 460,000 Steam concurrent players at its peak and selling over 15 million copies to date across PS5 and PC. Last month, Arrowhead announced that Helldivers 2 will make its way to Xbox Series X/S on August 26, generating significant hype among users on the Microsoft platform as well as some dismay from PlayStation fans.
With the Helldivers 2 Xbox port set to launch precisely two weeks from now, Arrowhead has released a new trailer dubbed "Bring The Boom" to further drum up excitement for the release. However, this trailer teases something that's perhaps even more exciting than Helldivers 2's Xbox port itself.
