Mina The Hollower Gets An October 2025 Release For Nintendo Switch

It’s finally happening. Yacht Club Games’ long-awaited action-adventure Mina The Hollower is officially launching on October 31, 2025, for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and yes, that’s Halloween. Fitting for a game brimming with gothic horror vibes, eerie crypts, and bone-rattling beasties. This release date was recently shown during the Nintendo Indie World Showcase 2025.

That’s not all, as a demo for the game will be available to play on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 later today.

Originally revealed back in early 2022, Mina The Hollower immediately turned heads with its Game Boy Color-style aesthetic mixed with the tight, satisfying gameplay Yacht Club is known for. Think Zelda: Link’s Awakening with a hint of Castlevania flair, and you’d be right on the money. Since then, fans (myself included) have been waiting patiently, especially since the game’s initial release date was back in 2023.

I had the chance to go hands-on with Mina The Hollower during a past PAX East, and even in that early build, the game was something special. Fast-paced, responsive controls, a unique “burrow and dash” mechanic, and a hauntingly good soundtrack — I walked away impressed and hungry for more. It...
