Tekken 8 Director A Bit Coy On Potential Nintendo Switch 2 Port

With the Nintendo Switch 2 now out, and games slowly starting to come out for it across 1st and 3rd party developers, many are wondering what games will be announced next. There are several titles that many people think are “destined to arrive,” but haven’t yet for one reason or another.

Tekken 8 is one such title, as Nintendo and Bandai Namco have a great relationship, even working together to make Smash Bros. Yet, the newest game in the fighting franchise hasn’t been labeled as coming to the Switch 2, and many fans are wondering why.

In an interview with Eurogamer, director Katsuhiro Harada gave the following cryptic answer to the port question:

That laugh at the end feels like a giveaway, but we might be reading into it too much. As many will note, the Nintendo Switch 2 already has high-end graphical games on it, while also having fighting games like Street Fighter 6.
