Riot Games Announces New Hub For League Of Legends, Valorant, & More

Riot Games has revealed and launched a new central hub for League of Legends and other competitive games. The Esports scene has only gotten bigger in recent years, with international tournaments offering thousands of dollars in prize money. The recent World Cup for League of Legends had a $2 million prize pool, and with that much money on the line, Riot Games is seeking to make a one-stop shop for all its competitive scene questions, rulings, and information.

In an announcement post on LinkedIn from Riot Games, a new Competitive Operations website has been launched, and it will serve as a "central hub" to protect the integrity of competitive play in League of Legends, Valorant, and more. It has been designed by pro players, teams, and organizers, and will provide insight and data about the Esports rulings and violation cases for those games.

According to the Competitive Operations website, the programs are designed "to build an esports ecosystem grounded in the highest principles of integrity and fairness." The comprehensive database includes essential documents that determine rulings for the various games, rosters of confirmed team members, competitive data, previous incidents and the results, and a lot more.
