2K and Gearbox Software have dropped the latest Official Character Short for Borderlands 4, this time focusing on Amon the Forgeknight. It is part of an ongoing series that introduces the four new Vault Hunters who will be wreaking havoc across Kairos.
Amon’s story is some brutal stuff. He was raised in a Vault monster-worshipping cult until the day the Vault was opened and the creature inside turned on everyone he loved. As the only survivor, he dedicated his life to tracking down and killing as many of these beasts as possible.
The new Character Short, titled “Demons,” follows Amon as he recounts a deadly encounter with a Vault–obsessed cult much like the one from his past. It offers a grim look at what fuels his relentless quest for vengeance. Amon, as they say, has seen some shit and likes Pistacio ice cream.
