As some gamers get early copies of Cyberpunk 2077, developer CD Projekt Red has issued a warning against streaming the game before its official date.
On Twitter, CD Projekt Red issued a warning that those who stream Cyberpunk 2077 before December 9th at 3 a.m. PST will have their videos taken down. The developer states that they want everyone to enjoy the game when it releases at the same time spoiler free.
"We're getting closer and closer to launch and chances are some of you will get your hands on a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 before release day," CD Projekt Red stated in the tweet. "However difficult this might be for us to achieve, our ambition is for gamers all across the world to have the same - spoiler free - experience at the time the game releases.
"This is why we kindly ask you NOT TO stream / let's play, or release any similar content before December 9th, 12pm CET / 3 AM PST. We will send MAX-TAC (you know, the guys who take down videos) after everyone who does. After that date, however, we would love if you'd streamed everything like there's no tomorrow.
"It's 2020, who knows, maybe there isn't."
It was recently revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 will have a robust Photo Mode. A trailer was released for the mode, showcasing the large amount of tools that players will have when it comes to taking the perfect photo. Players will have tools such as filters, aperture controls, stickers, frames, and effects that can help them create unique images. Players can pause the action happening in the game at any moment, and position V however they wish. They will also be able to change V's facial expressions and poses, ensuring that every photo players take is exactly how they wish.
Cyberpunk 2077 will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Google Stadia on December 10th.
