A new rumor has suggested that there will be three playable characters in the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem. Some reports have claimed that Resident Evil Requiem will feature two playable characters, although it appears a third may have been added into the mix.
Resident Evil Requiem was announced at Summer Game Fest back in June, exciting fans who waited until the end of the show for the grand reveal. The game’s trailer teased the series’ long-awaited return to Raccoon City, as well as a new protagonist: Grace Ashcroft. Resident Evil Requiem quickly surpassed one million wishlists, a huge milestone that bodes well for the game’s future success.
Now, a new post from reliable Capcom leaker Dusk Golem has suggested that Resident Evil Requiem will have three playable characters, saying the trio will be “Leon & Grace. A little Alyssa, but that’s really it.” Alyssa Ashcroft played a key role in 2003’s Resident Evil Outbreak, but the character has very rarely been mentioned since. However, the fact that Requiem protagonist Grace is her daughter certainly raises the possibility that she could show up in a playable section.
