Last month, Shiny Shoe Games revealed its roadmap and future plans for Monster Train 2. This included three free content drops and one paid DLC, with the first, Lost Arsenal, set for release at some point within the next six weeks.
Lost Arsenal, as the name might suggest, is set to focus on new room and equipment cards, with the developers confirming there will be a new card for each of the game's ten clans, plus "new clanless room and equipment cards."
Ahead of its imminent launch, though, the developers have given players their first look at two of the game's upcoming cards, and they already look like they're going to cause havoc.
In a new post on Steam, Shiny Shoe shared a little about the upcoming update, saying, "The Skull Crusher begins to behave strangely. Heph, who built it using the foundation of the Bonecrusher and plans left by Herzal, notices both the Rail and the Skull Crusher exhibiting mysterious behavior. Rooms that were not there before appear. Sacred relics return to their guardians. And seers across all clans warn of threats on the horizon.
