Xbox Game Pass is Coming to iOS Devices Next Spring

Microsoft has announced that cloud gaming through Xbox Game Pass will be coming to more devices next year. 

Microsoft announced that cloud gaming through Xbox Game Pass will come to PC and iOS devices next year. The announcement revealed that starting next spring, Windows PCs will be able to stream games through the cloud via Xbox Game Pass, which will be done through the Xbox app or browser. It was also stated that iOS devices will be able to game through the cloud using a mobile web browser. Microsoft did reveal that cloud gaming through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be coming to new markets, including Australia, Brazil, Japan, and Mexico. 

Microsoft also gave some statistics for the month of November regarding the Xbox community. Monthly engagement on Xbox Game Pass was more than doubled in the month of November. Over 1.6 million seamless upgrades were delivered to Xbox Series X/S systems through Smart Delivery. Over 40% of gamers playing on an Xbox console for the first time were doing so on the Xbox Series S. In Europe, the Xbox Series X/S saw record sellouts in a matter of hours across the UK, France and Germany. 

Microsoft also revealed some upcoming titles that will be available for gamers on Xbox platforms in 2021. Games included Far Cry 6, Scarlet Nexus, Resident Evil Village, Outriders, and more. Games coming to Xbox platforms through Xbox Game Pass in 2021 included Halo Infinite, Psychonauts 2, The Medium, and Skatebird. A full list of all these games can be seen here

Last week, a massive amount of games were announced for Xbox Game Pass through out the month of December. This included titles such as Control, DOOM Eternal, Rage 2, and Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition. It was also announced that games such as Metro: Last Light Redux, and Untitled Goose Game will be leaving the service.
