It looks like Pokemon Legends: Z-A might actually put up a bit of a challenge, as it's bringing back a divisive mechanic we haven't seen in the series since Black and White.
Even though Pokemon is the most well-known media franchise on the planet, the actual games have been hit with a lot of the same criticism over the years. Ignoring the tidal wave of National Dex complaints, perhaps the biggest issue that most fans have with the mainline games is that they're generally way too easy.
There are some challenges to be found in every Pokemon game, but it's generally agreed that the last few generations have held players' hands a bit too much. It seems that might not be the case for Legends: Z-A, though, as it's going surprisingly hardcore by bringing back a series staple that's been gone for far too long.
