Dune: Awakening developer Funcom has revealed a detailed roadmap outlining the upcoming free and paid updates coming to the sandbox survival MMO up to late 2026, giving fans a clear picture of what to expect in the months to come. Despite a stellar launch, Dune: Awakening's journey over the last few months hasn't been without hiccups, and new content might just be what fans need to return to Arrakis once more.
Dune: Awakening has not received any major updates since its release in June, with most of Funcom's attention being dedicated to fleshing out the existing endgame content and stamping out griefers plaguing the Deep Desert. In addition, the developers have put a lot of effort into making the game more solo-friendly, as evidenced by Dune: Awakening's recent PvE change that drastically increased the amount of Tier 6 resources in the non-PvP zones of the Deep Desert.
