Werewolf: The Apocalypse can be considered the sibling series to Vampire: The Masquerade, and if you're excited for the former's upcoming RPG Earthblood, this gameplay and pre-order details are for you.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood launches on February 4 for PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. Players who expect to play it on both last-gen and current-gen platforms may want to consider pre-ordering the game, as it guarantees you digital copies of both versions for PlayStation 4 and 5 or Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Currently, the free next-gen upgrade path is a pre-order exclusive.
Along with that, more pre-order incentives were revealed, including cosmetic sets such as a unique fur for the werewolf, a new outfit for his human form, and the Ahroun Symbol. Collectively, they make up "The Exiled One" set for pre-ordering players.
If you're new to the series, don't fret. This is the first RPG based on the long-running property, and a new gameplay video should help get you up to speed. Check it out below. In a six-minute walkthrough, you'll see how elements such as stealth and combat work in both your human and wolf, or "Crinos," forms.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse takes place in the World of Darkness universe alongside other properties such as Vampire, Promethean, and Mummy. Together, they tell a story of monsters living in the real world hidden out of sight of normal humans. Earthblood can go a long way to proving the future viability of this franchise with a strong launch when it hits all intended platforms on February 4, 2021.
