Netmarble has announced that the closed beta test registration for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is now open. Based on the popular anime The Seven Deadly Sins, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, PC via Steam and mobile devices. It's now possible to pre-register for the game through its official homepage.
A New Way to Dive into the Hit Series Universe
The Seven Deadly Sins is a well-known shounen series originally conceived as a manga by Nakaba Suzuki. The manga ran between 2012 and 2020 but has received multiple spin-offs, anime series and even an ongoing sequel called Four Knights of Apocalypse. The IP has reached over 55 million copies in global sales worldwide.
In the series, The Seven Deadly Sins was a group of knights from Britannia, but they have disbanded after being framed for a coup against the Kingdom of Liones. Princess Elizabeth finds one of their members, Meliodas, and the duo decide to clear their names and liberate the kingdom from the Holy Knights that currently hold the power.
