The highly underrated Star Trek: Resurgence is heading to Nintendo Switch later this month as announced on Wednesday by developer Dramatic Labs. The game is brought to you by former TellTale storymakers who tell you an original story within the final frontier. It's "been a long road" getting to the Nintendo Switch, but hopefully the port will run well.
Dramatic Labs' Prime Directive
The Nintendo Switch will finally be getting Star Trek: Resurgence on August 28, according to Gematsu. The narrative game was previously launched on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Epic Games Store) more than two years ago on May 23, 2023. It later received a Steam release in May 2024.
Star Trek: Resurgence takes place after The Next Generation's storyline on the U.S.S. Resolute, a vessel for scientific pursuits. You play two main characters, first officer Jara Rydek and engineer Carter Diaz, whose decisions will shape the fate of the crew forever. Some major characters from the show's history appear in Star Trek: Resurgence. Ambassador Spock helps guide Rydek as she becomes a leader on the ship, and Captain William T. Ryker also has some words to say about her decisions...
