Hollow Knight: Silksong finally has a release date. The game has been in development for six years, and despite years of silence in between updates, the wait for the game is almost over. Earlier this week, it was confirmed by Geoff Keighley at Gamescom Opening Night Live that Hollow Knight: Silksong would "100 percent" release this year, and not only is it releasing this year, but it's releasing very soon.
Revealed during Team Cherry's Hollow Knight: Silksong special announcement, it was confirmed that the game will release on September 4. The trailer also confirmed a lot more information about the game, including its boss count. The game will also be a day-one Xbox Game Pass release, and will be available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
