Back in June, Remedy released FBC: Firebreak, a cooperative PvE first-person shooter set within the larger Control universe, which itself shares connections to Alan Wake. Listen, it's a lot, but the point remains: Remedy released its first-ever multiplayer game.

From the start, things were rocky as a lack of content at launch had fans split on its value. Things only went downhill from there, as the game quickly found itself in the double-digits for concurrents. Well, in the time since then, things have only gotten worse.

Over on SteamDB, which tracks updates, player counts and more for games, FBC: Firebreak has fallen into the single-digits, with as little as six people actively engaging with the game.

Of course, SteamDB only tells part of the story, as the game was available to those with either an Xbox Game Pass subscription or to those with a PlayStation Plus sub. However, it is still a rather worrying sight, especially for a game that is meant to be a live-service project, AKA one that relies on active players.
