Hollow Knight: Silksong Release Has Delayed Another Game

The developers of CloverPit have delayed the game due to the release of Hollow Knight: Silksong. The sequel to the acclaimed 2017 game, Hollow Knight: Silksong finally has a release date set by Team Cherry, following years of anticipation and speculation from fans.

Due to the high expectations, other developers are choosing not to release their games close to September 4, which is when Team Cherry will drop its anticipated game. That is the case with Talegames, which delayed Faeland because of Hollow Knight: Silksong. An RPG inspired by classic 8-bit games, Faeland was set to launch a few days after Silksong, but the developers decided to change that so their project could receive “the attention and care it deserves.” Hollow Knight: Silksong is one of the most anticipated games of 2025, and this time, another title has had its release pushed back because of Hornet's upcoming adventure.

Panik Arcade has postponed the release of CloverPit to Friday, September 26. In a note on CloverPit's Steam page, the developers explain that the decision was made so that the game's launch would not be overshadowed, since it was scheduled to arrive on September 3, one day before Hollow Knight: Silksong...
