Since its announcement at last year's The Game Awards, the upcoming Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has become more and more zany with each and every reveal. Sure it won't have any Blue Shells for you to have to deal with, but it'll also have SpongeBob SquarePants and Hatsune Miku racing alongside Shadow, Knuckles, Tails and, of course, Sonic.
Speaking of Sonic, the famed blue hedgehog will have some rather flirty dialogue with Rouge the Bat. CrossWorlds, as a whole, will have multiple character interactions, but this one, in particular, since it involves two characters who've never been linked.
Of course, Sonic could be talking about the many racetracks that will populate the game. But, we all know where the Internet's collective mind immediately went.
"Now by curves you mean the track, right, Sonic? Right, Sonic?" a gamer wrote on Reddit. We'd like to think the same thing, but you just never know these days.
The bit of dialogue is particularly funny, especially when you consider the long-running "Will they?" "Won't they?" of Sonic and Amy Rose's relationship.
