Mario Fans Are Starting To Worry That Nintendo Has Nothing Planned For His 40th Birthday

Mario turns 40 in less than three weeks. You'd be forgiven for not knowing that, as despite how close we are to the big day, Nintendo has failed to mention it. With not long left to go, and no word from Nintendo on how it plans to mark the occasion, fans are starting to worry that the studio might not have anything planned at all.

Stealth shared a tweet on Sunday, expressing their concern that with 20 days to go (19 now), Nintendo still hasn't revealed what it has planned for Mario's big day. They're not the only one who's starting to worry about it either. The replies are filled with a combination of people sharing their concerns, reminiscing about Mario's 35th annversary, and sharing wishlists for what they'd like to see announced if there are going to be birthday celebrations of some description.
