It's now being reported that another Nintendo Direct showcase is coming in September. The previous Nintendo Direct just happened last week, during which we got an in-depth look and release date for Kirby Air Riders. It seems Nintendo has a lot left in store for 2025 and beyond, if these new rumors hold any weight.
According to SwitchForce on X, there is reportedly a planned Nintendo Direct for September 12. It has also been reported by sources close to VGC that a Nintendo Direct is being planned for mid-September, which would align with SwitchForce's posting. As of right now, this is just a rumor and should be treated as such.
Besides 2024, a September Nintendo Direct has been held almost every September since the event's inception, so it wouldn't be surprising at all to see yet another showcase so soon. Nintendo rarely, if ever, does Directs on Fridays, and September 12 is a Friday, but Switch Force has reported that the Direct is being planned for an unexpected day, which would also align with the rumors.
