The next Zelda game has gotten an exciting update. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, which is releasing later this year, has been teased quite a bit by Nintendo lately, and with the game arriving soon, developer Koei Tecmo has given an official update regarding the Tears of the Kingdom prequel.
Thanks to a recent post by Koei Tecmo on X, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is confirmed to be playable at Tokyo Game Show this year. This information was further confirmed via its GameCity site. When translated, this year's Zelda booth lists "Trial Play," although it states that "Details regarding the demo will be announced at a later date."
While fans will still have to wait a bit longer to learn more details about the demo, it's nice to see the game will be playable at 2025's Tokyo Game Show. This year, Tokyo Game Show begins September 25 and runs until September 28, 2025 (the public days are listed as September 27-28).
