Gears of War was one of the dominant Xbox-exclusive titles during the Xbox 360 and Xbox One eras, and now the franchise creator, Cliff Bleszinski, is sharing his thoughts about Gears of War: Reloaded coming to the PlayStation 5. The game is releasing on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC tomorrow, and is also a day-one Xbox Game Pass title, so it won't be long before PS5 players get to experience the game that changed cover-based shooters.
In an interview with Eurogamer, Bleszinski said that he is "thrilled" more people will get to play GoW. He added, "it doesn't feel strange" to see GoW on PS5, and that he's excited that "more people are going to get to experience a big part of my legacy that I worked so hard on." Bleszinski also revealed if he's been asked to return to the series.
Bleszinski has long since left the development of the Gears of War franchise. Though he notes, he's always willing to lend a hand to the series' current developers, The Coalition, if asked, saying: "And I'm like 'uh, I've said it a thousand times I'm open to consult on any of it."...
