Dragon Ball FighterZ players will get a better look at Super Baby 2 this weekend.
On Twitter, Bandai Namco announced that they will be holding a Dragon Ball FighterZ showcase this weekend. The showcase will give players the latest details on the upcoming fighter, Super Baby 2, and will give gamers a better look at how he plays. The showcase will take place on Sunday, January 10th at 11:00 a.m. PST.
Super Baby 2 was revealed at this year's National Championship Playoffs. The character will release in the game on January 15th. He will be the fourth character to be a part of the game's third Season Pass, following Kefla, Ultra Instinct Goku, and Master Roshi. It was also revealed during Super Baby 2's announcement that the final character in the Season Three pass will be Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta. No time window was given on when we can expect Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta to release. There is also no word on whether or not their will be a Season Four of Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Last month we got some information on the moves and techniques that Super baby 2 will utilize in Dragon Ball FighterZ. One of those techniques is the Darkness Return Shot. If this ki shot misses the opponent, it will come back from outside the screen. He will also be able to utilize the Revenge Death Ball, which has Super Baby 2 charge up a massive ball of black energy, which he then throws at his opponent. Super Baby 2's Meteor Attack sees him transform into a Golden Ape, and then rampage across the battlefield. Finally, Super Baby 2 will be able to utilize characters that he has defeated in attacks of his own. It is not fully known how this technique will work at the moment, though we are sure to see it at this Sunday's showcase.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
