The Ultimate and PC tiers of Xbox Game Pass have officially added Gears of War: Reloaded as a day one release. The new game is a remaster of the original Gears of War, released in 2006, known as one of the most influential third-person shooters of the 2000s.
Kicking off almost 20 years ago, Gears of War has been one of Xbox’s most iconic franchises. The original trilogy was released between 2006 and 2011 for Xbox 360, and it followed the protagonist Marcus Fenix, a soldier of the Coalition of Ordered Governments, as the army tried to face a reptilian menace called the Locus Horde to save humanity.
With Gears of War: Reloaded available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC, subscribers will have the chance to replay the popular third-person shooter or try it for the first time.
