Rumors of a September Nintendo Direct have been running rampant, and now, a new leak suggests that this could be the show Nintendo fans have been waiting for. Early leaks have suggested that a September Direct is being planned for September 12, and even though that's right before the 40th anniversary of Mario, it looks like the show may be much bigger than just the iconic red plumber.
According to a YouTube video from SwitchForce, the leaker who stated the September Nintendo Direct was indeed happening, the Direct will be "the big one" and will be a general Direct. Like all rumors and leaks, though, this information should be taken with a grain of salt until Nintendo officially announces a Direct for September.
According to SwitchForce, the rumored September Direct will be a "very exciting show." He also teases that the show will be a glimpse into the future for the Nintendo Switch 2, and will focus on first-party, third-party, and indie titles. In other rumors, it's been alleged that Nintendo may do multiple Directs in September, allegedly focusing on Metroid Prime 4, the Mario 40th anniversary, and this purported general direct.
We still do not...
