Fortnite has temporarily disabled Precision Air Strike in the game's Battle Royale mode, following the emergence of an issue. The notably powerful offensive item was only recently added to Fortnite as part of the Chapter 6 Season 4 update.
Alongside the many features in the latest seasonal update, Precision Air Strikes were introduced exclusively in Fortnite's Battle Royale mode. While the season in general kicked off on August 7, this particular ability to call in help from above was integrated into the mode on August 26. As initially expected, this Legendary consumable item emerged as a highly powerful option in the game, with a growing number of players adopting it into their strategy. However, as quickly as its popularity shot up, an issue associated with it apparently surfaced as well.
Via the Fortnite Status handle on Twitter, it was revealed that Fortnite's new Precision Air Strike feature for the Battle Royale mode was being taken down for an unknown period of time. Without going into the specifics, the devs shared that the decision was down to an undisclosed issue they had been actively working on. Keeping this in mind, fans of the new consumable will likely have to wait patiently...
