Mark your calendars: Duet Night Abyss now officially has a release date. Developed by Pan Studio under the Hero Games (Black Myth Wukong and various mobile games) umbrella, it's making changes to how monetization works in free-to-play action RPGs that could set it apart from other games in the space.

Duet Night Abyss is set for release on October 28, according to an IGN interview with the devs. The game has already been subject to intensive testing: first, a technical test, and then two closed betas. Pan Studio has synthesized and incorporated much of the feedback it received during this testing phase, which has Duet Night Abyss looking better than ever.

Duet Night Abyss will be released worldwide on October 28, available only on PC and mobile for now. Developer Deca Bear tells IGN there's interest in console versions later, but first, there's the hurdle of controller compatibility.
