The constant introduction of new content to Helldivers 2 continues with the upcoming Dust Devils Warbond, which includes a stratagem that's likely to get on your nerves. Dust Devils will drop shortly after the game's Xbox launch and the highly anticipated Halo ODST crossover, which saw the first Legendary Warbond added to Helldivers 2.
The Dust Devils Warbond will be released on September 4, and among its menagerie of new weapons and armor is a new stratagem that's almost guaranteed to annoy some Helldivers. The EAT-700 Expendable Napalm appears to work exactly like the Expendable Anti-Tank rocket launcher, but its payload delivers a significant burst of napalm over the target area. Napalm is already effective, especially against the Terminids, but the Orbital Napalm Barrage in particular has a notorious reputation for being a nuisance.
While the exact details aren't yet known, the EAT-700 Expendable Napalm will likely work the same as the EAT-17 Expendable Anti-Tank stratagem, which calls in two single-fire rocket launchers with a very short cooldown of 70 seconds (under 60 seconds with certain ship modules).
