Gears of War: Reloaded released this week. Not just on Xbox and PC, but on PS5 too, marking the first time a Gears of War game has ever launched on PlayStation. If you have already unlocked the series' first-ever Platinum trophy, you'll have seen that The Coalition has already teased plans to bring even more games in the series to Xbox's rival platform.
Despite only launching on Thursday, quite a few people already have Reloaded's Platinum, in part because they quickly found a work around to unlock one of the trophies that requires the most work. That's why we've already seen the description attached to Gears of War's first-ever Platinum: "Your adventure is over, for now...".
Since Xbox doesn't have an equivalent of a Platinum Trophy, the tease was created specifically for the PS5 version of the game. It appears to be teasing that, despite no official announcement, more Gears games are preparing to jump over the quickly closing console war chasm.
On the surface, the most likely Gears game to get the PS5 treatment next will be Gears of War: E-Day. The next game in the series will be a prequel to the original, confirmed...
