Lost Soul Aside is finally out, and, let's just say, things have not been pretty in the last 24 hours since it launched on PlayStation 5 and PC. The game's performance has been less than ideal, leading to "Mixed" status on Steam. Elsewhere, the game's low-budget cutscenes and voice acting have been the subject of many an Internet meme.
Again, not the greatest start. Adding insult to injury is word that a sponsored stream went rather poorly, making the entire launch one that Sony would sooner like to forget, or so we think.
As first shared on Twitter by Daniel Camilo, a consultant and games business expert who lives in China, Lost Soul Aside allegedly held a sponsored stream with PlayStation China that was meant to hype up the game and help sell new copies alongside director, Yang Bing.
Except, it reportedly only managed to sell four copies of the game. What's more, according to Camilo, the game is receiving very middling reception in China, where its developer, Ultizero Games, is centered.
