Honkai: Nexus Anima is sharing more details about the lore behind the newest game from HoYoverse, set to launch its first beta test in the near future. The Genshin Impact developer first revealed its next major game release earlier this year, revealing Honkai: Nexus Anima as a spinoff of the Honkai universe pairing characters up with Pokemon-like creatures. The game is set to serve as a crossover of multiple different Honkai universe games, with both Honkai Impact 3rd's Kiana and Honkai: Star Rail's Blade confirmed to appear. Now, Nexus Anima is seeing some brand-new reveals.
HoYoverse recently debuted some major new announcements about Honkai: Nexus Anima, including the first snippets of the new RPG's gameplay. Honkai: Nexus Anima will combine open-world exploration, akin to that of its predecessors in Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact, with an "auto-chess" battle system pitting the "Nexus Anima" creatures against one another. Honkai: Nexus Anima also announced signups for its first closed beta test, with fans able to sign up for an iOS-exclusive test period until early September.
