Borderlands 3 will be hosting mini-events in Arms Race over the next three weeks.

On the Borderlands website, it was announced that there will be three mini-events in Arms Race over the next three weeks. The events start today, January 21st, and will last until February 11th. The three events will be split up into one week durations. In order to participate in these events, players will need to own the Designer's Cut add-on, which they can get individually, or as part of Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition or Season Pass 2.

The first mini-event, entitled Clear Skies, will last from January 21st to January 28th. During this mini-event, enemies will have a chance to drop better loot. The Murdercane's circle will take longer to close, giving players extra time to scavenge and explore. The second event is called Extra Extra Extraction, and will run from January 28th to February 4th. During this time, all extraction stations will have additional slots, allowing players to extract more gear. In addition, Air Drops will have an increased chance to drop DAHL chests, which are more likely to contain gear exclusive to Arms Race. The final mini-event, Gear Rush, will take place on February 4th to February 11th. During this mini-event, Rare Chests are more likely to appear, and green DAHL chests located at major points of interest in the Stormblind Complex have an increased chance to have gear exclusive to Arms Race. However, the Murdercane will close at a quicker pace.

Along with the start of the Arms Race mini-events, a new patch was released for Borderlands 3 as well. The patch will make a number of updates and hotfixes. There are also a few gear adjustments, including increased damage to a few guns. The full patch notes can be seen here

Borderlands 3 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Google Stadia.
