Assassin's Creed Origins And Valhalla Dev Joins Rocksteady, Possibly For Rumoured Arkham Game

Adding fuel to the rumours of a new Rocksteady-helmed Arkham game, veteran Ubisoft dev Bill Money has joined the studio after a decade of working on tentpole triple-A releases like Assassin's Creed Origins, Mirage, and Valhalla.

As reported by Insider Gaming, he joined the studio as a game director back in July. And while he hasn't listed the project he was hired for, his history might give us a clue.

Money has experience working on Arkham Origins as a design director at Warner Bros. Games Montreal, and only earlier this year, Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier claimed that Rocksteady was "looking to return to Batman for a single-player game".

"I maintained the game design vision and help[ed] to push our products to be industry leaders in game mechanics, user interfaces and systemic interactions," Money explained on his LinkedIn.

Money may have been hired to help in the early stages of development of a new Arkham game, given his experience with the series.

Little else has been said on what Rocksteady might have in development, and with Warner Bros. shifting the focus to its four biggest IPs—Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Mortal Kombat, and DC—Batman seems a safe bet,...
