Animal Crossing: New Horizons' next update will allow players to get into the carnival spirit.
On the Animal Crossing: New Horizons website, it was revealed that the game's next update will be released on January 28th. The main inclusion of the new update will be the Festivale event. On February 15th, Dancer Pave will arrive on player's islands, bringing confetti and carnival spirit. On the day of the event, players will be able to capture colorful feathers that will be floating around their island. They can trade them with Pave to receive a passionate dance. These feathers are a rare sight, meaning gamers should catch them and trade them with Pave when they can. Players can even invite their friends over to their island to enjoy the festivities together.
The upcoming New Horizons update will also introduce a number of new features. There will be new Reactions that players can purchase from Nook's Cranny for a limited time. These new Reactions include Feelin' It, Viva, and Confetti. Starting on February 1st, Festivale clothing will be available at the Able Sisters shop for a limited time. There will also be seasonal items available at the Nook Shop in Resident Services and through Nook Shopping. Players can celebrate Valentine's Day with chocolate hearts and heart-shaped bouquets. These items will be available for purchase starting on February 1st, and will be available until February 14th. Players will also be able to get items related to Groundhog Day and Big Game Celebration during certain periods in January and February.
It has also been announced that a Animal Crossing Sanrio Collaboration Pack will be available for purchase starting on March 26th. The pack will be available exclusively at Target, and will cost $5.99. The pack contains six amiibo cards that can be used in compatible games.
It was revealed that New Horizons' next update will release in March, and that gamers should stay tuned for more information.
